Vehicles will routinely suffer damage to their AP, Segments and equipment, this damage can be undone through repair. First your character must choose option:
- Restore HP: your character can restore a number of HP to a target vehicle equal to successes in an engineer test. The test takes 1 hour per HP restored and fails if interrupted. Time taken is doubled and successes are halved if you are attempting this option without proper equipment.
- Fix a piece of destroyed equipment: you character can fix a piece of destroyed vehicle equipment by passing an engineering test equal to the EQP cost of the equipment.
- Repair a segment: you may repair a segment by completing a DS 6 engineering test. Repairing takes a number of hours equal to ds of the test and this form of repairing does not repair any equipment in the destroyed segment.
You may salvage equipment from damaged or destroyed vehicles by passing an engineer test equal to the EQP cost of the equipment. Salvaged equipment can then used normally by installing into another vehicle or kept to be sold.
